When Logan agreed to be the designated driver for some of his pack buddies, he never thought he'd be saving anyone's life, let alone the life of his true mate. Jenna has been left for dead, but she kept her wits about her and kept reciting the true mate spell in hopes that it would bring the one person that could save her to her rescue. After a very interesting Code F, Logan brings Jenna home to stay in the human world.
There are some complications that these two have to deal with though as they are getting to know each other. Such as Jenna's crazy ex may be plotting against her. There's the gang that kidnapped her and left her for dead still running about. There are some side effects of the Code F that have some fun and others scary side effects on Jenna. Poor Logan just wants to give her time to adjust to things and typical male only has two things on his mind. Her safety...and you know the other!
This was a good story and I appreciated being able to touch base with several people from the previous stories without having to go to far into back stories. So that means that yes, one can read this story separate from the series and not feel completely lost.
