Once Upon A Second Chance (A 1Night Stand Story)


Leila  was sold into marriage by her father in the Middle East. Her husband wanted an heir from her. He beat her every month that she showed she was not pregnant. Ten long years. 
One day her husband said those releasing words three times. She was free. Then Khalid stepped in and propsed with a dowry.
One night together was all he gave them befor he drugged her and sent her to live with his stepmother.
Leila never understood what or the why.
Finally the dear woman set her up on a date through an agency.  With trepidition Leila went to the meeting spot never expecting it to be her husband.  Khalid did not know it was his wife he was meeting.
Leila has just one night to convince her husband to stay and love her.

Fo being a very short book I was amazed at how well the charecters got to me. This is a first for me!  I really enjoyed watching Leila come into her own. The inner strength she had was great .
