Jenn's Wolf (book 1 Chestnut Rock Shifters)
Being a wolf shifter Matt is on the look out for his mate. He knows shifters can fall into a deep depression without their mate and it can even lead to the death of the shifter. Shifter know by sight, smell, and hearing, who there mate is and so far, nothing. When he decides to do to a bar with friends, they dare him to kiss the next woman to come up. He does, but still nothing.
Jenn, being raised by a drunk, does not like drinking. But her friends have talked her into going to a bar and just guy shopping. When her friend goes to the bar and gets a kiss from a hunky guy, Jenn notices him right away. She is attracted but who kisses total strangers? He must be drunk?
So when Jenn goes on a blind date and finds out it is Matt from the bar, who had kissed her friend, she wants nothing to do with him. Matt hadn't seen or heard Jenn the day before otherwise he would have known it was his mate. But now he has found her but she will not have anything to do with him. How and what can Matt do to prove the love that he is already feeling and show he will be in it for the long hall.
This is a very short read but a good opening story. Would love to know more about the 2 and see how things turn out. I have a weakness for shifters and Jane does not disappoint. This has the potential to be a great series.
