Mallory
Dillingham has been working on a plan for 3 long years. A plan to not
only blackmail her way into taking over the family oil business but to
destroy those that "should" mean the most to her. NO is not a word she
knows, Mallory uses what ever and who ever she can to get what she
wants.
Mallory is a greedy, heartless, power hungry, selfish
person. After getting her
brother-in-law, Joseph drunk on New Year Eve's, she seduces him. What
she wants is not only her sister, Sarah's shares to the Dillingham Oil
Company but her husband as well. Mallory does not stop there, next she
moves on to her brother, Robert. What she is holding over his head could
destroy him, as he is running for State Representative.
When
Mallory is found dead "stabbed" three times, the knife points to many in
the family. Everyone had a motive to "get rid of Mallory". Mallory
brought out the worst in everyone and someone was so blinded by hate
that they acted upon it.
What a great read ! I found myself
thinking I was on the set of Dallas and wanting to know WHO DID IT ! Who
finally had enough of this bratty Mallory! What a bully and just mean
spirited women she is ! I found myself wanting to slap her myself ! This
is a great "who done it" and a page turner for sure :)
