Kate
Roland was a Private First Class solider in the Army. She was trained
to serve and protect. On October 24th 2013 Kate finds herself trying to
stay alive and survive the Plague of the Undead. Many died in the
tornado's, earthquakes, tsunami's and fires, those Kate considered to be
the lucky ones.
Kate is paired with her high school friend,
Dave, when given orders to kill everyone they go out on their own and
try to save those not infected. Upon hearing a gunshot they track it
down to the house that Jillian and Evan was hiding in. Kate soon
discovers Jillian's journal and a little girl Angel. Kate and Dave's man
focus is quickly switched to protecting
her. After being rescued by another group they make their way to Ohio.
Their journey is one you will not want to miss and one that Kate will
keep record of.
This is an awesome read and follow up to "In the
Life of Jillian". The author has a way of making you feel you are right
there watching the story. I never thought about if the mind is still
functioning while the body is slowly decaying and rotting away. . . .
remember zombies did not ask to be zombies they are victims to ! Can't
wait to read book 3. What a great series ! !
