Lyn Croft

Blood and Lilies by Lyn Croft
First in the Bloodlines Series
Once cast from Heaven, Zillah has vowed to destroy God and overtake his kingdom. But a key is needed to open the gates between the two realms.
The Key to the gate walks the earth in the form of a woman...young, innocent and completely unaware of her importance in the battle between good and evil. Once her blood is shed, Zillah can open the portal to release her father...Lucifer himself.
Cara, a college sophomore, is quickly thrown into the world of the supernatural, as well as learning of her true ancestry. Vampires, werewolves and the Nephilim are now a part of her reality. As the beings struggle to protect her, she fights to keep her sanity as her mortal realm is crushed.
Secrets are revealed that could shatter Cara’s new found love, as well as lead to her ultimate death. A family is torn apart as the battle to save the key leads them down a road of betrayal and heartache. Loved ones are lost, lines are crossed, and nothing is as it seems. Lies and truths twist and turn, leaving us with only one question…
Could you sacrifice the one you love to save the world?

Blood and Kindred

Continuing the Bloodlines Series with Book 2
Cara expected a relaxing spring break, free from studying, free from exams. Instead, her reality has been crushed as she is thrown into a world of the supernatural and finds out that the very battle between Heaven and Hell centers around her.
Halflings, Vampyres, and Werewolves are now part of her reality as she struggles to survive. Her best friend is now a vampyre and Zillah, the ancient vampyre queen is still hot on her trail. New enemies emerge as lost loved ones resurface.
In this exciting sequel to BLOOD and LILLIES, the Halflings fight to protect the key while everywhere they turn; they face betrayal and new enemies. Will Eamon lose Cara forever when she finds out the secrets behind the Halfling’s heritage and learns what she truly is? Or will Zillah finally win in her quest and open the portal between all realms, destroying our mortal reality and the key along with it?

Lyn’s Interview with Estelle and Celeste

Lyn: Hello everyone! Today I have a special treat for you. I’d like to welcome two of my favorite girls, Celeste and Estelle. They are the hot Vamp Twins from my first book, “Blood and Lilies – Bloodlines Series”. I’m so glad the two of them could join me today!

Hi Celeste and Estelle! You two are looking amazing today. How are you?
Estelle: Yeah, we know and we’re doing well. Now, can we hurry this along, please? We have better things to do.
Lyn: Oh. Ok… Well, I see we’re a bit moody today. May I ask why?
Celeste: We’re hungry and we were told- sadly- that we couldn’t eat you. Pointless, if you ask me.
Estelle: They did say during the interview we couldn’t eat Lyn during the show. But they didn’t say anything about after.
Celeste: Oh, yes, Estelle! That is so true! Sometimes, I love you!
Lyn: Oh my... Um…Well, I’m glad the two of you are here today. I’m dying to get to know you better.
Estelle: Oh, you’ll be dying alright. Ha!
Celeste: Now sis, let’s let Lyn do her thing. It’s not every day we get this kind of exposure. And, hey! You never know. That agent we’ve been stalking may see this interview… So, don’t ruin this for me, ‘k?
Estelle: Fine, let’s be on with it. Lyn, continue on with your questions, please. Oh, and be careful of what you ask. We wouldn’t want you to tarnish our image, in anyway. We’ve worked very hard at this being ‘sexy and evil’ gig.
Lyn: (gulp) Ahem, ok. I will do my best. Well, I see you two are twins.
Estelle: Duh? You caught that, did you?
Lyn: May I ask who’s the oldest?
Celeste: Well by mortal birth, that would be me. But our rebirth—
Estelle: That’d be me! Ha-ha, I’m the older one, now…
Lyn: How long have the two of you been vampyres?
Estelle: Longer than you’ve been alive. Next question!
Celeste: Geeze! Bitchy much? Lyn, don’t mind her. You know how grumpy she can get.
Lyn: Yes, yes. I know. So, you two are quite the duo in Blood and Lilies. What’s your story?
Estelle: Well, see…there’s this annoying little twit named Cara. She’s supposed to be super special or something. I think it has to do with something about her bloodline. All we know, is the Queen wants to get her claws into her, as do we.
Celeste: Yeah, Zillah wants her, and wants her real bad!
Lyn: Can you tell us about Zillah? You mentioned she is the queen. I’d love to talk to her as well.
Celeste: She’s the queen B. You know, the big boss. She’s not here, and nor would she give a little mortal like you the time of day. But, it’s alright. We’re gonna show her, once we’re in charge.
Lyn: Oh, I see. So, do the two of you have a plan?
Estelle: Yeah, but that’s none of your business. Not unless you can help us get our hooks dug deep into Cara’s face. She’s so overdue for a facial.
Lyn: I’m sensing some animosity towards Cara. What’s the scoop?
Celeste: She’s got these stupid creatures, called Halflings, watching over her and protecting her. You know—the offspring of the Nephilim – they’re always ruining our gig. They like to believe they are good, when in fact the same demon blood runs through their veins as us. They are so NOT better than us.
Lyn: But they don’t drink human blood or kill humans. They’re not vampires like you. So in my world, they are better…
Estelle: Hmph, if you only knew.
Lyn: What’s that supposed to mean? Care to go into more depth?
Estelle: Not really. Not if you want to leave this room alive. So, are we done yet?
Lyn: Um, no, not yet. So, vampires, Nephilim, and Halflings— what else is there that I should know about?
Celeste: Oh! Don’t forget about the Demon Dogs! Best to stay away from those things, they’re big, and not very cuddly. They smell God-awful as well.
Lyn: Yeah… well… you don’t seem so cuddly, yourself.
Celeste: Excuse me?
Lyn: Never mind…So, do you know why the Halflings are protecting Cara? From what I hear, they’ve given you a pretty good run around so far.
Estelle: What does it matter? All I know is that girl is my next meal. Well, okay … maybe after making you my next meal. But as soon as we get her alone, she’s toast.
Celeste: Sis, you know they aintgonna let us anywhere near her. And Zillah said—
Estelle: Zillah said, Zillah said…God, shut up already! Seriously, I can’t take you anywhere. You’re worse than her own lapdog, Damon.
Lyn: Wait! What did Zillah say?
Estelle: None of your business, mortal. Next!
Lyn: Well. I can see I’m gaining great distance with the two of you. This is so much fun. I thought you had agents watching this interview?
Celeste: Oh, yeah! Sorry. Hunger, remember? So, we’ve been gunning for Cara, but no luck so far, besides getting our butts beat pretty good.
Lyn: Understandable. So, what is it you’re going to do with her? Well… besides have her over for “dinner”.
Celeste: Well, legend has it that she carries some special bloodline. Like, her dad was a high level angel or something. I think it gives demons super immortality or power. We plan to get her first and find out. Then we can be the queen B’s, if you know what I mean… ;)
Estelle: Dude! Shut up. Why do you always have to give away too much? Can you seriously please plug up that air leak in your head? It’s called your mouth!
Celeste: Whatever. Like she doesn’t already know! Duh!Estelle: Yeah, but hello??? What about the others who don’t. You so don’t understand being secretive, do you?
Lyn: Ok, you two. Well, before tempers flare any further, can I just say what an honor it is to finally meet you in person? You too are exactly the way I imagined, except maybe even more stunning in person. I can see why Cara is so intimidated by your looks.
Estelle: Yes. We know. Are you done now with your “questions” now?
Lyn: Well, I guess I can be... Did you have anything else to add?
Celeste: Nah, except that I do believe it’s dinner time!
Lyn: Crap! Well, thank you everyone for coming by. I’d like to say, I’ll see you next time, but I may not ge….
