Sharona and Jason are in Costa Rica on their 

honeymoon when he is suddenly hit by a truck 

and killed while waiting to cross the street. 

His beautiful bride Sharona witnesses the entire 

scene. Alone in Costa Rica, her father-in-law 

is contacted as next of kin to come and identify 

the body. The two take care of Jason's remains 

and head home and this is where the adventure 

begins.Sharona discovers that she is pregnant 

and with the help of her father-in-law Edward 

and her friend Felicia they help her to put her 

life back together. Felicia decides that her 

friend needs to move on with her life and takes 

her out for a girl's night where she encounters 

Dr. Diego Cruz. The rest you will have to read 

to discover.
 
This tale is an easy read with twists and turns 

around each page.  The characters are described 

so as to fit into anyone's life, the best friend 

Felicia, the father-in-law Edward, and of course 

the handsome Dr. Diego Cruz. You will find yourself 

trying to guess what lies ahead in the story only 

to be wrong. The ending is far from what you think!!!!
 
I would give Secrets and Lies 3.5 stars.
The story ended to soon.  I wanted to know more!!!
