Review of Out of the Smoke by Becca Jameson

Out of the Smoke
by Becca Jameson
Elizabeth Martin 's life was pure hell.  Her husband is very abusive.   On 9-11 while getting coffee for her boss,  the Twin Towers are hit.  This is her chance to escape.   She flees and lets all think she died in the tower collapses.
Liz starts a new life cleaning houses for a living.   A new client Alan a Lawyer has opened his business in his home and needs the house to be spotless.  When the two meet sparks fly.  As she opens up to Alana about her past , her past unfolds and her abusive husband is hot on her heels.

This had to be a tough book to write.  Between 9-11 and abuse it was hard to read, but the storyline was right on.  I enjoyed the book and do recommend.
