I've always written but life, as it often does, got in the way and I turned back to writing some years ago. In 2000 I was selected by North West Playwrights of England for further development but found I preferred writing fiction (novels and short stories).
My fiction is not easy on the heart. It will frighten you and shock you. You might never be the same after reading it. But you know what? Maybe that's good. Perhaps I am doing my job. I'm not just dishing out novels to make up series, I'm giving you a piece of my soul. I'm telling you, if you care to read my work, the dark side is evil! It always was. Satan is wicked, his demons are his servants.
No reward can await those who forfeit heaven for a taste of hell.
Most crucially of all because I write vampire fiction, I portray my vampires as VAMPIRES, yes they may be capable of love but it is tortured love. They are not happy little fairies prancing about enchanted forests. They do not inhabit a pleasant world, if they are good it is because "they do less evil than themselves."
That quote by the way is from "The House on Blackstone Moor."
If you are a mature reader and want to read gothic fiction that portrays evil as being evil, then please check out my books and short stories. If not, go in peace and with my blessing. We are all different and that is good because diversity enriches the genre!
I write stories of the paranormal, horror, and love. I'm the creator of Louis Darton, a strong vampire with a dark, tortured past. Come journey with me as I help Louis find love and fight his ultimate nemesis, the evil, demonic Eco.
Louis is featured in my dark gothic romance novel, The House on Blackstone Moor which has just been released in its newly edited verison and is on sale here.
The House on Blackstone Moor is literary style horror at its darkest. The themes are madness, obsession and devil worship.
It is recommended for readers 18 years of age and over.
There are three more novels in The Blackstone Vampires Series.
Unholy Testament - The Beginnings is on sale here.
Unholy Testament - Full Circle, release early 2013
the fourth and last book in the series, release in 2013
Dreams of a Vampire is the short story prequel to the novel. It includes the first fourteen chapters of The House on Blackstone Moor and is free at Amazon.
Know what I want to do? I want to take gothic romance where it's never been!
I want to shock and thrill you and leave you wanting more.
The battle between good vs. evil is central to my fiction and there is no fudging over the evil. Evil is evil.
There can be love as well or even just the hope of love, but whatever there is, my fiction is never predictable. I don't think fiction should be.
If readers want darkest gothic horror with romantic elements, then look no further!

"They say my father was mad, so corrupted by evil and tainted by sin that he did what he did. I came home to find them all dead; their throats savagely cut. My sisters only five and eight were gone as well as my brother who was twelve. My mother too lay butchered in her marriage bed. The bed her children were born in..."Young Rose Baines discovers the savage murders of her family by her mad, incestuous father. She is plunged into a nightmare of hell and is incarcerated in two madhouses after which she is helped to obtain a position as governess at Blackstone House. The house is located on haunted moorland. Nothing is as it seems for Blackstone House and its inhabitants have hideous secrets. There is unimaginable horror there but there is love too--love that comes at a terrible price. The story is as haunting as it is terrifying and will remain with the reader long after its disturbing tale has been told.

Included in this book are the first two chapters and book cover of Book 3, Unholy Testament - Full Circle.

**** The day Eco first laid eyes on Rose Baines was the day she discovered (The House on Blackstone Moor) her family's savage butchery at the hands of her mad, incestuous father.

"I saw you leave the house that day, Rose, that terrible day you discovered your family butchered. I saw you..."

Eco realizing he has fallen in love with her pens a confession documenting all of his sins committed in the course of his immortal existence. The one request is that Rose reads his confession.

Rose, having become his captive, is forced to read this unholy testament of his.

From Ancient Egyptian vampire cults to Roman vampire brothels to The Dark Ages, The Crusades, The Black Death of 1348 to his meeting with child murderer and Satanist, Gilles de Rais, concluding with his wicked affair with the Blood Countess herself, Erzebat Bathory.

Eco is, if nothing else, frankly and brutally honest. The pages are filled with debauchery and vice and murder--yet, there is also love or what Eco swears is love.

The story is continued in Unholy Testament - Full Circle, on sale here

All of the hideous secrets of Blackstone House and its inhabitants are revealed in this, the third book in The Blackstone Vampires Series.

Rose Baines continues to be held captive by the demon Eco (Unholy Testament - The Beginnings) and must read the rest of his journal which is a confession of all of his sins.

The rest of the journal focuses on the characters that have haunted Rose's living life and undead existence. But primarily, Eco's journal tells of the sick and twisted obsession he has had for Blackstone House's former mistress, evil and debauched Eve Darton.

This is gothic horror at its darkest. Eco's lustful relationship with Eve is told against the backdrop of aristocratic devil rites, both in England and France, including satanic sacrifices; continuing to the Great Fire of London 1666. Along the way there are plagues, vampire destroyers and witch hunts and of course vampires!

Human evil and supernatural evil are explored in detail. There are Resurrection men who supply a necrophile doctor. Every vice and evil is examined including the hideous truth of Rose's father and the reasons he murdered her family.

Every evil that Rose Baines was subjected to is closely examined as are those who committed the worst sins against her.

This is not light reading and although there is romance within the story, the darkness that surrounds it is relentless.

Two new characters are introduced at the end of the novel. These two feature in the fourth book which is entitled, The Fourth Bride. Also included is the book cover.

19 Terrifying tales and a nonfiction detoxification guide await you within. Sacrifice your vice with the MASTERS OF HORROR. You’re literally DAMNED IF YOU DON’T.
