Review of Moonlit Nights by Jacob Parr

TITLE - MOONLIT NIGHTS
AUTHOR - JACOB PARR
STARS - 4
REVIEWER - WENDE SHEETS

Walking home from work, late at night, feeling your being followed. When you find yourself in a crime novel that you, yourself would read. That is how Sara Moulton felt. Unfortunately her body was found by a jogger the next morning. What was discovered was an horrendous site, her body was mutilated. Something dark and evil was walking the streets. . . . . . this was only the beginning.

Aidan Preston is a Detective with Montgomery County Homicide Division, or at least was. Now Aidan is on administrative leave due to an injury, it was a call that went wrong and he still blames himself for things that happen that night. Aidan is now on the road to healing and ready to get back to work. First, he needs to get to the root of his nightmares and second he must get a referral saying he is ready from Dr. Harper . He soon finds himself at the front of a full investigation with his friend Detective Mack Jones, OFF duty of course.

Lisa Davies, a wildlife biologist for the Smithsonian Conservation Biological Institute, located in Front Royal, Virginia, and resident wolf expert at the National Zoo, receives a very interesting email. Tyler has discovered a burial ground in Oregon. He soon ships her out bones. What she discovers is not only human but something in the line of a wolf.

With Halloween only be a few days away they all must ban together and find who or what is causing a line of horrendous killings. What does the Hunters Moon have to do with things? They discover more and more clues and still can not believe their eyes when faced with what they discover. Are werewolves real ??

This was a great read, all typo's put aside I enjoyed the novel. Not only is it a thriller, but has a love story within the pages as well. Showing that after hurt, love can still be found. This would be one novel that would be great to read on a fall night leading up to Halloween!
