Gill Brogan is a 27 year old single mother of two. Gill's thoughts and concerns are only feeding little Oliver and Amy. From one job to next Gill has went, when she is bullied by other employees, her boss Jacob Spencer decides her time there as expired. As if cleaning her desk and being lead out by security was not enough, employees applaud. Gill soon learns that being fired was a ploy by her boss, Jacob Spencer. After picking her up and spending a few hours with her, Gill is beyond confused. Jacob seems to know her past history, how she grew up in an abusive home and even married a man that was even more abusive.
Gill wants one thing in life "to be loved". When Jacob disappears for 2 months, Gill gets on with her life and finds another job. While cleaning for Greg Parker one afternoon a bomb appeared, then the questions start WHY? WHO? Gill and Greg go into hiding, while answers are put with all questions.
Women are being found murdered after being tortured. Mike Watson and Lucy Taylor are trying to put the puzzle together. The big question remains . . . how is Gill tied into this ??
This was a great read one that kept you guessing and asking how these murders are tied to Gill ?? Who would want to kill her ??? Sit back and enjoy a great read !
