Review of Heartbound by P.I Alltraine

Heartbound

Set in present day London, a group of beings are sent to study the human world in order to find a cure for a fatal disease ravaging their type.  Petyr, our main hero, falls in love with a human girl at the University and must find a way to continue being who he is.
This group of beings are a type of “alien among us” feel.  They are superior beings that live and travel in worlds beyond our own.  There are three distinct groups, each with their own special powers.  The Arcas, the Aguas, and the Astras.  The leaders of the Empyrian system send this group to earth to discover a cure for The Forbidden.  In the beginning, it is confusing what they actually mean by this mysterious illness but it slowly becomes clearer.
At its core, this fantasy story is also a love story between our star crossed lovers.  The book is well written and a very enjoyable read.  The story ends in a way that leaves you wanting to read more.  I look forward to a second book from this author.

This book receives 4/5 stars
