Review of Wanton by AJ Meyer

Ember is now a  Darkling and let the pity party commence.  With help from Nathan , Tyler, Blake, Kim and an odd assortment of others wanting to help Ember come to terms with what she is now.
Tho, witches are disappearing left and right, it will be a race to save other witches as well as Kim.
As a darkling she needs the essence of others to survive, but with the help of Skippy and his potion, along with whiskey , she may be able to learn enough to save herself and her friends.

To be honest the first 50% of this book was nothing but a pity party, people saying things they didn't mean, hurt feelings, the feeling of being completely alone.
The second half of this book is A.J. Myers at her best in writing.
Action after Action , new characters introduced not all were there to help others only themselves.
Learning what Tyler really is.  Ember learning to control her new self as well as her powers and new powers.
Just get through the first part of this book and you will be in for a very fun and humors read!
