Review of Mates Since Birth by Miranda Stowe

Mates Since Birth

At seven years old Dane, already had a bond with a mate. His human nanny is pregnant and delivering her little girl, Ari. Dane has been talking to her while she is in the womb and already knows she is special to him. When she is born, her mom was in danger and is bleeding. Dane has to take the baby out of the room. He is seven so he doesn't know how to help her. He bites her neck to help protect her. But by doing so, also binds the two for life. When Ari's father comes in, he is furious. He understands what this young cub has just done to his newborn. Five years go by and the two just grow closer. More of a close sibling bond because of their ages. Until Ari and her family disappear and break Danes heart. 20 years later Ari is a young woman living close to her parents, when she gets stuck in a tree. Low and behold a young, very handsome man from her past comes to her rescue.

This was a very well done book. I thoroughly enjoyed her writing. The connection between Dane and Ari, is magnetic. Great start and unique. The ending starts part 2, which I already picked up, and looking forward to starting it. Defiantly an author to keep your eye on. Thanks for the great read.
