Review of Poisoned Apple by Katherine McIntyre

Poisoned Apple by Katherine McIntyre

Most people look forward to their 18th birthday. But Neve Wynn is not everyone and dreads the day of her 18th. On that day, her child support dried up and her vile step-mother kicked her out for good. Neve ends up on the street, abandoned and alone; something she is quite familiar with. Neve grew up without her parents really in her life. With no where to go, Neve wanders around until she comes upon a safe haven in the form of a diner where she meets an interesting group of guys and one specifically; Brendan.

Poisoned Apple is a romantic and touching read that is perfect for anyone looking for some love. McIntyre does a nice job of creating a struggling character that is trying to find a place to call her own and love. Neve and Brendan's relationship will keep the reader intrigued and make for a quick read as they become hooked from page to page. I am giving Poisoned Apple a 4/5 stars. A great read for someone looking for something romantic and quick.
