 Product Details
We are all very glad you came here to JBR. Can you tell us a little about your self?
I live in Fort Collins Colorado with my wife and son. My daughter has embarked on her career as a graphics designer. I've been an Infantryman, Swine Farmer, smattering of other trades and jobs and now I'm a manufacturing pharmaceutical chemist. What aspect of my life that is devoted to fitness favors swimming in open water which means I spend most of the year working out in a pool then hit the lakes when it warms up a bit. My wife Cheryl safety kayaks for me when we manage to make it work.

What genres do you write?
Science Fiction is my umbrella but I feel I unapologetically cross genres within and with out of the umbrella. I include elements of space opera, techno-thriller, military Sci-Fi, erotica, romance and some belief twists. In short, I don't get into boxes willingly.

As a reader I love all genres but my followers want to know what to expect from your books. Action, adventure, romance, sex, magic??
Action, adventure, romance, sex, logical science fiction, alien encounters, humor and conflicts.

Who is your favorite character(s) from your books?
So far I would have to go with Dr. Abrams though I like them all or I would have edited them out somehow. I kind of pictured someone like, or the real deal, Johnny Depp playing this role in a movie if that ever happened timely.

What is your newest release? can you tell us a little about it?
My newest release will be Destined for...Something and I hope to have it up with GMTA by April 2013. It's the life of a guy in the Next You Universe who, because of unfortunate circumstances in his life, is not the sharpest tack. He overcomes this for a while to become larger than his environment. It might be a future Forrest Gump but different.

What about future projects? any hints?
Out of eleven synopses for the Next You Universe I have thus far written five. Every time I complete a book I seem to acquire a new synopsis in the process. So far there have been Legacy of Daddy, Next You Interstellar LLC, Having Nice Things, Utopian Estates and now Destined for...Something. The next one in my sights is Minus a Conscience.

Can you give aspiring authors any advice?
Don't give up and have faith in your stuff. Get outside help with grammar, flow and misused words but let no-one change your story. When the haters and know-it-alls start speaking up just consider the source, don't escalate, and go about your business because it is about you. Was that too much?

Favorite past time activity?
Swimming in the open water. I don't race, don't need to. I just commune and find peace.

a favorite book or author you can recommend (not your own)?and WHY?
Harry Harrison, though he has passed on, wove awesome works of science fiction that always culminated with a future open to hope. There are many others but he was at the top of my mind at the moment. I suggest the trilogy To The Stars.

Favorite place to travel to?
New Zealand and Aus. That said I really need to finish exploring my current home state of Colorado.

What kind of music do you listen too?
Typically, I like alternative-rock but I have a warm spot for Bardic (Celtic).

And finally where can we find your books?(please include any links you want including buy links)
http://nextyouniverse.com is the easiest as I trap all the sources there. They are everywhere Smashwords distributes though I do Kindle on its own. Paperback versions are available through Amazon.
