Callie Hunter, best friend to alpha half-wolf Cadence, has had enough of the pack life. She is done with pack life and being an Omega always being put down and beat down. Cadence protected her all the way through school. Now that Cadence is the Alpha of her pack she is ordered to put the Were's Females in line , yet she refuses with Callie. Cadence pays the price and Callie is done with the whole pack life. She turns rogue and moves to were their are no wolf packs. A car accident brings her to the attention of 2 police offers who are were- mountain lions.
These mountain lions have their own issues. The females are cold hearted bitches. They do not want children when they give birth it is the males who raise the children. They also don't want anyone else to have their males even tho they don't want the males either. The woman have been known to kill any female that set their sight on the males mountain lion.
Callie must learn to fight for what she wants and boyo does she.
To see Callie come into her own was heart lifting. I knew she had it in her. I was cheering for the underdog (hahah). The M/F/M was hot. The 3 characters and the crap that they had to go to be together is one long hot road. But what a twisty road to happiness it is!
