Title: A princess from mars Author: Edgar rice Burroughs & Bebe Balocca John Carter had been an amazing fighter all
his life. John had been to war and far off lands
and back again. John finds himself on the
greatest adventure of his life when he is
some how transported to the planet Mars.
Almost as soon as John gets on Mars he
is taken prisoner by the green martians. Only to
grow in command in there community by his great
fighting skills and his now super human strength.
John had gained this amazing strength when he arrived
on Mars.
One day the green martians find them self in battle
with a fleet of ships belonging to the red martians.
After the battle the green martians capture a new
prisoner. The daughter of one of the red martian tribes
Dejah Thoris.
For John it was love at first sight. He knew it in
his heart and soul he had to do what ever it took to
help Dejah escape the green martians and to win the
beautiful princesses heart. This book was a fantastic read it transported me to
the planet Mars. As I read the book the red planet
and the people on it came to life for me, it was
truly amazing. I loved how I got a human point of
view on how brutal life was for both the green
martians and the red martians. It was fantastic
how both struggle for survival in the same
ways but also different ways. I loved this book
and will recommend it to anyone who will listen.
I definitely give this book 5 stars.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for reviewing A Princess of Mars - and I'm so happy that you liked it. I had such a wonderful time writing it. I'm a huge fan of vintage sci-fi and really tried to make my additions fit seamlessly, and I had fun adding totally new elements, too. :)
