Review of The Serenity Stone Murder by Marianne Jones

The Serenity Stone Murder
Marianne Jones

Margaret and Louise, along with Vincent, Louise's dog take off for a women's retreat in Thunder bay. Thunder Bay is a quiet little town on the shores of Lake Superior. Like all the big towns, they have their fair share of issues. Looking for a weekend to get away becomes more than sleep, peace and relaxation.
Thunder Bay is rocked with a disturbing murder that takes place in the church garden of all places.

Casino manager, Doug Whalen, was found murdered, in the church garden. The weapon of choice used was none other than a decorative rock with the words SERNITY on it. Doug was not a well like man and had a long list of suspects, BUT finding which one actually did it was the mystery. Margaret and Louise decided they need to stay and do some super sleuthing. With the clues stacking up they get closer and closer to finding who done it.

This was a wonderful cozy read! I enjoyed all the characters and the little bit of love story mixed in. My favorite of course would be the caramel corn eating dog Vincent! This is one that I would love to read when the snow is falling with a warm blanket, my fur baby and some hot cocoa :) Sit back and enjoy !!!

5 cozy loving stars
