Jamie Caldwell is used to disasters, he works as Seattle Fire Dept Technical Rescue Team and right now his marriage to Erica is the biggest disaster around.  After a 1 night stand of the most awesome sex he has ever had Erica becomes pregnant.  Jamie thought he had found his soul mate for his Dom. side as well as his heart. Erica loved the way Jamie was in bed, but fears of becoming her mother overcrowd her thoughts. So she ask for a divorce. Not really wanting to divorce Jamie she feels she must to keep from becoming a doormat. Jamie has 1 chance to change Erica's mind. They take a vacation in Hawaii.
What follows is Heart wrenching and loving BDSM.  Can  Jamie get his wife to trust him fully and see that she can remain strong and yet be Jamie's sub?

I have read all Kristine Cayne's books, I was expecting hot, just not scorching hot!  Dang this story line was heart wrenching and scorching hot at same time.   The characters were so human and the real trials we all deal with at some time or another.  To see the characters come together with love, respect, trust was great. 
I thought I knew what BDSM was , boy was wrong, the fire part blew me away! This book is so flipping hot, just read it you will not be disappointed.

I have a question for MS. Cayne ummmm how do you research that lifestyle??!!
