Review of Bridging The Storm by Meredith Bond

Bridging The Storm by Meredith Bond

Sir Authur Dagonet has lived nearly 1000 years thanks to a gift bestowed upon him by the great Merlin himself in thanks for his help with the Children of Avalon.  He has lived so long and lost two loves to old age, and is traveling to find a spell to relieve him of his gift.

Kate Cherington lives with her uncle and aunt as their governess, helping with their 6 children.  Her Aunt Tatiana Vallentyn is high priestess of Vallen and has very strong magic. Kate has some magic of her own, but isn’t nearly as powerful as her aunt.  All Kate wants is a life of her very own with traveling and experiences she can’t get living where she is now.  Can she convince Sir Authur to take her to America with him when he leaves to go exploring?  Can he risk being hurt by time again if he opens his heart to Kate?

This is the second book in a series and can be read as a stand alone.  I enjoyed reading it and give it 5 stars!
