Ren had a rough childhood and
things did not get much better as she got older. Leaving an abusive
relationship was the first step. Ren has put the past behind and after
raising her daughter, she feels its her time to be happy. Ren can not
find that peace or happiness till she has dealt with the past.
Jackson
has waited a long 20 years to be with Ren, to keep promises he made
long ago . When Ren's past keeps popping up, Ren just can not deal with
it and starts shutting people out. We all have a past and we all make
mistakes but will Ren accept hers before its to late ? Will
Ren and Jackson get thru it without making more mistakes and causing
more hurts.
This was a remarkably awesome read ! ! I read this
in one sitting ! Jackson and Ren have a love like no other. She has to
learn to let down her guard and give up some control. Control that she
has found to be her peace. Ren is a very strong character and shows she
is human! Better yet she is a SURVIVOR !
