Review of Desolation by AR DeClerck

Gods, goddesses, werewolves, and other mythical creatures come together in the mythical romance novel Desolation written by AR DeClerck. The novel follows Lavinia, or better known as Vinnie, the goddess of love who is plagued with a deadly disease of gods and goddesses: Desolation. The disease has been slowly killing Vinnie over time and her only hope for survival is Gage Rebeau, an Asesino or servant of the Fates. In order to save Vinnie, Gage and her must travel to the werewolf kingdom to find a cure. Along the way they run into some trouble and discover what love really is.

DeClerck has created a mythical fantasy world where a thrilling story of love and the fight of survival takes place. Gage and Vinnie's relationship is a loving and thrilling romance that keeps the reader invested in the story from page to page. Along with their relationship, other blossoming relationships among other characters help create an even stronger story line. The story is not only romantic but also thrilling as the characters race against time in order to save Vinnie and the werewolf kingdom. I am giving Desolation a 5/5 stars for it's outstanding characters, their relationships, and the strong storyline that DeClerck has created. This is the perfect read for anyone looking for a fantasy novel that they won't be able to put down.
