review of Dark Instincts by Suzanne Wright

Dark Instincts
by Suzanne Wright

Marcus a enforcer in the Phoenix werewolf pack, is kinda a male slut. Doesn't want any commitment or relationships, just a romp in the hay when ever he has time. The Mercury pack and Phoenix pack connected loosely through  friendship, family and working together in past problems, start to become even closer. Nick the alpha of the Mercury pack has a sister Roni, also an enforcer and a strong dominant female. She has earned a reputation of being able to take care of herself and pushes most others away.

Marcus and Roni meet and Marcus is turned down for probably the first time in his life. Roni has no intention of doing anything with Marcus. Which makes him want her even more. The chase is on.

As Marcus tries to get closer to Roni, more and more of her past is revealed. After a plot to kidnap a child of the alpha of the Phoenix pack is foiled. A danger is discovered and is connected to Roni's past. As more of the story is uncovered they find it may be a problem that goes even to the council.

Will Roni let Marcus close enough? Will Marcus be able to bond and actual commit to someone, even when his past comes to light as well? And will the Phoenix and Mercury pack be able to stop the atrocities happening and find the shifters that are the cause?

I have been reading Suzanne Wright for a while and I have LOVED everything she has written. These are stand alone books but you will get more out of them if you read each one in the series. I love the Phoenix pack and every member. Greta, still one of my favorite characters. I really enjoyed seeing all the other characters. It was like visiting old friends. My favorite line in the book and I almost fell out of my chair laughing "Run Alpha boy".....you have to read the book to understand but LOVED it.

Keep them coming Suzanne
5 Amazing stars!
