Review of Supernatural Assassin Black Velvet by Vina Kent

Supernatural Assassin Black Velvet
Vina Kent

Mira and brother Brian had a close relationship, while watching the sunrise over the lake her brother dies. Mira is devastated at the loss of her brother and on top of that she was blamed for his death. Her mother never treated Mira right, she never felt wanted or love. Her mother banished her from her home, the only place she has known. Mira was sent to live with her uncles..

Mira's uncles would raise her like their own and in a world of assassins. Mira is known to be a "killing machine", even worst by some. Putting down mythological creatures quietly is her specialty.  Mira's new job is Hawke Fisher. The deeper she gets into her new assignment the more secrets she discovers about herself. Secrets that could change her life. . . . . . the question is will she survive before learning them all ??
This was a great novel, one that had several turns and twists along the way. I feel in love with Mira and my heart broke for her. I loved taking this journey with her as she learns more about herself. I have to say when I started reading this one I was not expecting what was to come. It was nice to read something that was not just vampires and werewolves !
