This is my list of top 10 favorite authors for 2013, though I have a LOT of favorites and
this list changes on a daily basis, it seems, depending on what I’m reading at the time.

My number Uno will always be Staci Brush. She writes Steamy Romance, Paranormal
Romance and some Young Adult Romance. Everything she has written has been
wonderful and I have read them over and over. She has a new book coming out soon and
I can’t wait to read it.

Right now, my second all time favorite books are written by Nicky Wells. She has a
series of Rock Lit romance stories that I am in love with. One of them is a Christmas/
Holiday story. It’s a twist on A Christmas Carol. It ties in to her Rock Lit series, but can
be a stand alone book as well.

Third on my list is Janet Evanovich. I have read her Numbers series at least four times,
and can’t WAIT to read her Takedown Twenty book when it comes out on November
19th
. I have read everything she has written and crave more from her. She’s been on my
top 10 list for years and years. Her books are considered mysteries, but they are a light
mystery and even the Halloween one isn’t scary at all. There is romance in them as well.
I don’t recommend drinking coffee while you’re reading anything she has written or you
risk getting your devise or book wet when you burst out laughing with no warning and
whatever is in your mouth squirts out your nose.

My fourth pick is Lori Foster.

Lori Foster writes Romances with hunky heroes and strong heroines. All of her books
can be read as stand alones, but they are actually continuations of series. She writes her
characters as if they are your friends and you are reading about their lives. I always read
her newest books very quickly after their release. She also has several compilation books
with other writers, and I enjoy reading those too.

Karen Marie Moning is my fifth pick. She used to write Highlander Romances, and I
fell in love with every one of them. Lately, she has been writing a Paranormal Romance
with some Mystery in them, and I devour these books as well. This is her Fever series
and really should be read in order to make sense in figuring out what is going on. This is
one author that I wish could write faster because her Fever series is very hard to wait for
when the next one hasn’t been released yet.
