Sins from her Past by Jules Bennett
Evelyn Banks has moved back to her home town to start her own design business. She is instantly welcomed back by her brother and his 2 best friends, especially Vin who has been in love with Evelyn for years. But Evelyn has a secret, one that stops her from wanting to get close to any one, and one she doesn't want to get out as she believes it will hurt those she loves most. It is up to Vin to convince her that the intimacy will be worth it and that you can not keep the past hidden forever.
I really enjoyed this book, Vin was very sexy but very sweet and I
loved that he wasn't totally perfect, him being scared of flying was
great, there was also a lot of humour especially where the boys were
concerned. Evelyn was also well written, she was confident in all areas
except relationships and even there she wasn't annoyingly whiny as some
characters can be, more resigned, I love how they slowly come together
as she learns to trust him. And of course her brothers inevitable flip
out at his best friend dating his sister. The back drop to all this is
is the person who hurt Evelyn when she was younger. As I generally don't
read book blurbs before reviewing I didn't know who it was although it
does come out and this adds a nice tension to a romance book.
I would give this 4 1/2 stars
