Buddy
Lee Walker and Faith Morgan were friends in high school. Faith was the
one getting into trouble and Buddy getting her out of those jams. They
have not spoken to each other in 6 years, then a night like any other,
Buddy finds Faith on his door step. Again, Faith needs help getting out
of trouble.
Faith
is engaged to Royce Webb and the wedding is just a few days away. There
is just one problem Faith does not want to marry Royce. To many things
have happened and Faith is afraid. With no one else to run to she turns
to Buddy Lee for help.
Buddy
Lee's mother died when he was 6 and his father failed at raising him.
Buddy spends most of his time at his shop and stays to himself. He likes
his quiet life then Faith shows up. She ask for his help and Buddy has
no idea what he is in for ! After agreeing to help Faith his life is
anything but quiet. He finds himself married and once again with
the ugly title of "Boyd's Boy".
This
was an excellent read ! I feel in love with Faith and Buddy right away.
This book reminded me of the Robyn Carr's books. A good love story with
lots of little twist !
