The Lost children of Ka'Orah series
by Jenna Riley
Amazon Synopsis: Chloe Sommers, an up-and-coming Seattle artist is haunted by her childhood amnesia. Frightening nightmares are pulling apart her self-made life until the night Nico Decker thrusts her amidst his family and tears down the walls separating herself from her past...and her future. Nico Decker, a high-powered antiquities importer has always enjoyed the freedom, lifestyle and the affection of his large extended family that his affluence has afforded them. More than anything he wants to continue maintaining the luxury and women his status allows. Only he never expected to meet an enigma like Chloe Sommers, or to be instantly consumed by their incredible chemistry and connection. As one of three Tiagan royal siblings presumed lost at sea, Chloe's rediscovered life in the royal family is threatened by increasingly dangerous conspiracies and intrigues. With her future with Nico as precarious as the Polynesian monarchy that rules this tiny nation, will they survive? Will she survive? Explore the depths of identity and love as Jenna Riley takes the reader on a breathtaking trip to the tropics in this debut novel, the first in a trilogy about the Lost Children of Ka'Orah.
Review: A great read that kept me completely engaged throughout the entire book. I loved the story of Chloe and Nico. She goes through so much and shows such strength. The changes she has to adapt to, the person/people after her, the uncertain feeling she has about who she is supposed to be and even dealing with her memory loss. But she is not alone. Nico is there with her to care for and protect her. Great secondary characters too, that I look forward to reading more about in the coming books.
