Starlight Cowboy
by Stephanie Beck
Annalina is excited to take on this new adventurous mission to the moons of Jupiter. She is ready for the advancement that should have her captaining her own ship, but instead finds herself crewing for Shields Albright. Sheilds
loves to fly. A love that he got from his father. So this
groundbreaking mission is the kind that he has been waiting for. When
he and Annalina begin their journey there is a mutual attraction that
is undeniable but Sheilds knows that his social skillsare
a bit lacking, something Annalina isn't shy about reminding him of.
But they come to a mutual arrangement that satisfies them both
without breaking annalina's rules of professional distance. Of course
they can't keep their distance long and soon it's about how
they can each protect the other as attacks begin.
Review: I enjoyed this book. The story flowed well and the characters were easy to like and root for as they are faced with challenges throughout the book. I especially enjoyed Shields since his changes seem to be hardest to make. Yes, he seems rude at times but the author writes him as socially awkward in such a waythat I feel bad for him sometimes. But with Annalina's help and eventual caring his rough edges get smoothed out. The story has adventure and romance with twists and turns to keep you reading.
