Review of Protection by Linda Rettstatt

Protection
Linda Rettstatt

Sometimes, running is your only option. When something comes between you and the ones you love, all you want to do is protect them. . . NO matter what the cost. . .

Shannon Chase was driving on a foggy night and missed a hairpin turn on a narrow road. With a baby and no where to go she seeks help from a stranger, Jack Garber. Keeping her guard up she lets Jack help her and infant daughter. After a day or two she feels this little town maybe the perfect place to hide.

Jake Garber life turns upside down when Shannon misses that turn. Not only is Shannon trying to protect herself and her child, BUT, Jake is trying to protect himself! NOW Jake will be trying to protect them as well. When stranger's appear in town asking questions, then phone calls start, both are frightened.  As they try to keep it together some walls between them are coming down. When secrets are revealed, hearts are broken an lives are on the line.

I can not say enough about this book, it was a fantastic read ! Linda keeps you on the edge of your seat till the last word of the last sentence is read ! Full of suspense and a little romance OHHHHH who does not love that ! Looking forward to reading more from this author !
