ELR Jones

We are having a give away going on for March. What item are you giving away? (Anyone can win the item by going to the rafflecopter on the right hand side of the pg.)

An ecopy of my books Night Hunter and Rayna.

First why don't you tell us a little about yourself?

I am newly self-published Author.  Even so, I now have 6 books available for purchase with 6 more due out this year.  I have been writing since I was 14.  I love writing, reading and edition.  It's just my thing.

Newest release?

My latest release is Night Hunter.  It is part of a series, but it can also stand alone.  It is a Paranormal
Romance.

What can we expect from your stories, action, drama, romance, sex, blood and guts?

I write different books.  Anything from Drama to Paranormal will be found within the pages of my books.  At the root of it all is a love story.  I am a hopeless romantic and it is reflected in my work.

Do you have a favorite character in your stories? Who? and Why?

My favorite character is Philippe from my book Forbidden.  He was the one that hounded me until his side of the story was told.  After I completed the work, I realized the story would be lacking if I hadn't had that character in it.

How about your least favorite character? What makes them less appealing to you?

Surprisingly enough, it is Alkinai.  He gave me the most grief.  He was the most difficult.  He didn't want to come forward with his story.  I was frustrated because I knew Katana's story and where she was going, as far as her growth.  Gotta love those obstinate Alpha men.

Give us an interesting fun fact or a few about your book or series:

Each of my series is rooted in family.  They revolve around one another and interact or butt into each others lives all the time.

Has there been any other authors who have inspired your work or helped you out with your stories?

Inspired: Kresley Cole and Gena Showalter; Helped out: Danielle Stewart, Solease Barner, Krystal Shannen, Suza Kates... I wouldn't be sending you a message if it weren't for them.

What can readers who enjoy your book do to help make it successful?

Review and tell someone about the book.  Word of mouth/promotion is a BIG thing for a self-published Author.

Do you have any tips for readers or advice for other writers trying to get published?

1st: research, 2nd: connect (social media is your friend), 3rd: talk to another Author in your genre.  You'd be amazed at how receptive most of the Authors are.

Do you have a favorite author? If yes, what draws you to that person’s work?

Gena Showalter is my current fave.  I love her imagery and the characters that just jump off the page.  You want to meet each and every one of them.

Can you remember one of the first things you wrote? What makes it memorable?

It would have to be my poem: Mind Over Matter.  It was the first time that I ever expressed the truth of what I was feeling.

Where do you gather most of the inspiration for your works?

Most come from dreams.  Others come from happenings in my life and world.  I never know when it's going to hit me so I have notebooks and pins everywhere.

Do you have any other interesting hobbies, pets or stories you would like to share?

I am a movie fanatic and I love visiting museums when I can.

Favorite places to travel or visit?

I love being in the south.  My favorite trip though was Nicaragua, but there are places that I would love to visit.

And now, before you go, how about a snippet from your book that is meant to intrigue and tantalize us:( Include links to were we can find your work)

I have attached the teasers that I created and here are the links:
