The Hudson Ranch was run by by Zachary Hudson and his wife with their toddler son. Zachery has always wanted to get back in contact with his estranged triplet sons. When he is diagnosed with a tumor he knows time is up. On his way to find the first son there is a accident that leaves the toddler an orphan. In his will Zachary left the ranch to his 4 children as long as they stayed and tried to run the ranch.
Running the ranch has not been uneventful. Gabriel is opening up a vet clinic on the ranch to help make ends meet. A successful vet back home, he wants a practice again. He places an ad for help for the clinic. Kristen responds. She was wonderful qualifications and just wants a chance to prove herself. She applies as a man to get an interview. Gabriel is reluctant to hire the young attractive women but decides to give her a chance. The trouble continues on the ranch and someone is out to disrupt everything. The danger escalates and lives are in danger. The danger is blamed on the new hire, Kristen is put in the spotlight. Was she the one to cause so much trouble? What will it do to a blossoming attraction? And if it is not her, then who is endangering the family?
This series is a great love story/mystery with some action thrown in. The Hudson family is easy to fall in love with and I can't wait for the next book. Thanks for the great read Lorraine.
