Review of Divided Loyalties by Lia Davis

Divided Loyalties

Christa has trained for a very particular mission. She is working fro an organization that hunts shifters. Certain things from the past has driving her to hunt down the animals that killed her family. She also knows that not all shifters are bad. Her niece and nephew, wolf shifters, have been raised by Christa for the last 8 yrs. So when her organization gets a new boss and the hunting of shifters starts to get less specific, she begins to suspect that it my be time to exit her job to protect the last of her family, even if it means join with the people she has hunted.

Hayden is on a mission. He is hunting the second in command of their enemy, who has taken over a human organization, who hunts shifters themselves. When he and his brother get to the building his nose tells him that the humans working there have all been compromised with the rogue virus. As the killing starts, he also smells the female who is to be his mate. Getting her out of there isn't the problem but convincing a human that not only is he killing only rogues and is one of the good guys but also she is to be his mate.

This is my favorite in this series so far. The story with the Onyx pack has been coming to a head for a while now. Hayden has found his mate and knows that is will be hard for Christa but has faith that everything will work out. Christa who has lost most of her family knows her niece and nephew need a stable pack to help raise them, but is Ashwood the place they belong? Is it even safe? She is willing to risk it all including herself to find a place to call home. But will Hayden be a part of it? What a wonderful story. Action , love, romance all brought together for a great story. I am looking forward to more for the Ashwood Falls story.
