3) Who played the character, M?

4) How many books has thriller writer, David Snowdon published?

5) What is the title of his latest thriller?

6) Which of Snowdon’s thrillers features the character, Tom Swanson?

7) Where is the next Olympics being held and when?

1) First why don't you tell us a little about yourself?

Here’s a brief bio;

British thriller writer, David Snowdon was born in London and lives in
London.
Snowdon started writing in 1983 and has written 14 thrillers and many
short stories. His first published work, Too young to Die was published in
August 2006 and his second novel, The Mind of a Genius was published in
November 2007. The Mind of a Genius won an award for the best Mystery
and Adventure novel in 2008. A Crime to be Rich was published in May
2010. Sucker to be Alive was released in April 2011. And Coin for a Killer, a
sequel to The Mind of a Genius was published in March 2012. His latest work,
Diamonds for a Dollar was recently released in February 2013.

1) Newest release?

Diamonds for a Dollar.

2) What can we expect from your stories, action, drama, romance, sex,
blood and guts?

All of my titles are action-packed. I suggest you read one of my titles
and find out for yourself.

3) Do you have a favorite character in your stories? Who?  and Why?

Special Agent Jason Clay from the British MI4 is one of my favourite
characters. Clay appeared in the espionage thriller, The Mind of a
Genius in 2007 and also in the sequel, Coin for a killer in 2012. Clay
is handsome, suave and extremely intelligent. He’s also a ladies
man, but when comes to the nitty-gritty, it’s always business before
pleasure.

4) How about your least favorite character? What makes them less
appealing to you?

Fortunately, Julie, I haven’t got one. Very few authors would want
to create a character that they don’t like. I like to create the kind of
characters that I admire. They might not be everyone’s cup of tea. But
I have to like them to be able to include them in my books.

5) Give us an interesting fun fact or a few about your book or series:

My titles entail intrigue, action, romance, a certain amount of humour
and compelling dialogue. It’s the kind of stuff that will have you on the
edge of your seat. But will also have you meditating as you read along.

6) Has there been any other authors who have inspired your work or
helped you out with your stories?

My inspiration comes from God. Out of the blue, he gives me an idea
and all I have to do is report for duty.

7) What can readers who enjoy your book do to help make it successful?

Word of mouth is still one of the most powerful promotion techniques
in the world. If readers enjoy my work, they should tell their friends
about it.

8) Do you have any tips for readers or advice for other writers trying to
get published?

The publishing industry is not a bed of roses and with thousands of
titles being published universally on an annual basis, the competition
out there is tough. But success comes to those, who never give up on
a good thing. And If you believe you have what it takes, keep trying.
You never know!  One day, you could be onto a money-spinner.

9) Do you have a favorite author? If yes, what draws you to that person’s
work?

Not at the moment.

10) Can you remember one of the first things you wrote? What makes
it memorable?

The first book I wrote was a detective thriller in 1984. I clearly
remember sitting at my desk for a few hours a day, working on the
book until I finally completed it. In those days, computers were rare
and I didn’t use a typewriter. I used a pen and notebook to write my
books. I still remember the sheer exhilaration that I experienced when
I finished the last page.

11) Where do you gather most of the inspiration for your works?

As I previously mentioned, my inspiration comes from The Lord God
Almighty, my Heavenly Father. I get my ideas while I’m walking down
the road, socializing with friends, travelling around the world, etc.

12) Do you have any other interesting hobbies, pets or stories you
would like to share?

Travelling, socializing and reading.

13) Favorite places to travel or visit?

The US, the Far East and Australia are my favourite destinations.

14) And now, before you go, how about a snippet from your book that
is meant to intrigue and tantalize us:( Include links to where we can
find your work)

An Excerpt From The Mind of a Genius

Instinctively, McGuigan looked sideways. A pretty Chinese girl in a tight-fitting
black dress that really accentuated her nice, curvy figure was standing beside him
and staring at him. Their eyes met and the girl smiled. There was something about
the girl that made McGuigan's blood stir. And it wasn't often that a girl had that
effect on him.
"Hey, baby," said McGuigan, suddenly smiling at the girl. "How you doing?"
