SUMMARY:

Volume II of "The Spanners Series" is narrated by the "younger" Earthers (ages 12 - 40) in Clara's family and circle as well as her on-again/off-again love, Epifanio Dang, and her Chief Media Contact, Esperanza (Espe) Enlaces. It focuses on the first five years of The Transition after Public Contact is revealed to all Earther.

TCMF&MLF is divided into three types of narrations: Clara Branon provides "Snapshots" of her life, starting at age 9 and continuing through her sixties (2018), so readers may get to know her and discover the reasons she was selected to be Earth's first liaison, or Chief Communicator, by the Many Worlds Collective late in 2012. Moran Ackerman, one of Clara's nephews, provides "Interludes" to share his personal, family and professional experiences while discovering his own psi talents and how they are cultivated during his Excellent Skills Program trainings. Moran becomes the Chief of the Psi-Warriors and OverSeers, helping to defeat the Psi-Defiers who arise from the Fragmenters and Trenchers who protest Earth's joining the Many Worlds Collective. Each of Clara's nephews and nieces as well as her son, Zephyr, also shares their points of view while being interviewed by Espe about Earth's Transition into membership in the Many Worlds Collective.

Sally Ember has been passionate about writing since she was nine years old. She’s won prizes for her poetry, stories, songs and plays. She began meditation in her teens. Now, Sally delights fans of paranormal and romance by blurring the lines between fact and fiction in a multiverse of multiple timelines, often including exciting elements of utopian science fiction and Buddhism. Born Jewish on the cusp of Leo and Virgo, Sally's life has been infused with change. Currently, she lives alone and meditates, writes, swims, reads and plays piano in northern California.

In her "other" professional life, Sally has worked as an educator and upper-level, nonprofit manager in colleges, universities and private nonprofits for over thirty-five years in New England (every state), New Mexico and the San Francisco Bay Area (where she now lives).
